My dad recommended this site to me, so I'm excited to see what all you have to offer. Looks like a lot going on here.
Glad to see another Father/Son team on the board.

Jim

Retired CMSGT, USAF, 28 years and 21 days, but who counted?

I was a criminal investigator, counterintelligence collector

Carried the M-9 on active duty, before that I carried a modified 1911; I loved it.

59 going on 25

Private investigator, mostly in cargo crime, tractors, trailers, cargo thefts, etc.

First CHL in 1997, it expired when I moved to Ohio for a job in 2002, returned to Texas in 2003, but didn't renew it until this summer.

Primary is a Kahr CW40 and I tote a S&W or Tarus .38 wheel for short trips to the store.

Thinking about a .380 for conceal-ability

Rethinking my holster options after reading a lot of your posts.
I'd rather be lucky than good

Age 52
Gender: Male
Profession/school status: "High Speed Lift Operator"
Marital status: Married 28 years (same lady)
Years CHL: well uh...3 months
Carry guns/equipment: Colt Combat Commander 45ACP

I became interested in firearms when an oppurtunity arose associated with safety at work. I went from zero guns to 3 in six months, with a 4th here early in October. I am still on the steep side of the learning curve when it comes to carrying in Texas, but have learned a significant amount reading posting on the forum. I hope to be able to learn even more reading your furture posts. Thanks.....

Hello everyone, I registered on this site recently and figured it was time to introduce myself now that I finally have my license. I have wanted to get my CHL for several years, but finally decided to this year after my wife and I had our first child. So far this site has provided me with plenty of additional info and will become a great resource as I develop my knowledge of the laws and my rights.

Age: 28
Gender: Male
Profession/school status: Sales/Graduated from UNT in 2002
Marital Status: Married since March '98
Years CHL: Received my license on 10/9/07

32 Female
Key Account Manager
Married

A number including Glock 19 and 23, Kel-Tec PF9, Kahr P45

Unfortunately haven't been able to get CHL yet, we've only just managed to get our guns due to our Visa's, but just as we get them we have to move back to the UK at very short notice.

Wish we could have found this site a lot earlier (someone from another discussion forum told us about it).
