A top lawyer for CBS said she is “not even sympathetic” to victims of the Las Vegas shooting because “country music fans often are Republican,” when discussing the tragic mass shooting that occurred in Las Vegas late Sunday night.
Fired.

CBS fires vice president who said Vegas victims didn't deserve sympathy because country music fans 'often are Republican'
“This individual, who was with us for approximately one year, violated the standards of our company and is no longer an employee of CBS. Her views as expressed on social media are deeply unacceptable to all of us at CBS. Our hearts go out to the victims in Las Vegas and their families,” a CBS spokeswoman told Fox News.
Good to see CBS doing the right thing here. :clapping:

A friend's daughter was working the stage for Jason Aldeen's concert. She's my daughter's age, she's physically ok..... My friend's post was the first I knew of it.

Such evil...

OK, y'all have mentioned slide-fire and bump-fire, what is that?

Bump firing is a method of holding a firearm loosely so that the recoil allows the trigger to reset & then when your muscles bring the weapon forward, the trigger is tripped again.

The Slide Fire is a stock that facilitates that action.

Bump or slide fire is simulating full auto on a semi auto rifle by letting the rifle ride back due to recoil and you pushing it forward while holding your finger stationary. Or using a slide fire stock. See below.

Fox News Link
The guns found included converted, fully automatic AR-15 style assault rifles with high capacity magazines.

Not sure what "converted" means but an interview I saw made it sound like it was a true fully automatic conversion and not a bump-fire. Then again the talking heads may not have known what they were talking about. Caveat lector.

That firing was about capitalism and the existential threat to CBS if they appeared to condone their own lawyers statement.

The mass shooter was a multimillionaire capable of buying NFA FA items, or pay someone to convert them to FA.

I doubt that he bought a legitimate NFA item. Too much of a paper trail, could have found an underground gunsmith though.

Sure does not fit the background of a mass shooter.

His brother said he was a multimillionaire former accountant, turned real estate investor. Like to gamble was a high roller at the casino. So the room could have been comped.

What if he was abducted by persons unknown, because he had the room they needed.

They set up the cameras so they knew exactly when to fake his suicide. Afterwards went into adjoining room and slipped out in first responders uniforms.

This took a lot of planning, a lot of time. This wasn't luck. Some of this guys friends would have noticed some change in him. Snapping to do this does not account for all the time and preparation.

Convert. My opinion. It only took FBI few hours to decisively say that there is no link to the terrorist group, this is the same FBI that all of these months later is still trying to make connection between Trump and Russia, you know, still can't definitively say one way or the other there, yet just a few hours after this event they are 100% sure that this is not in anyway shape or form related to IS.
