Brother In Law Diagnosed With Cancer
My brother in law, Ted, has just had a needle biopsy which shows an apparent return of the lung cancer he had about ten years ago. Was treated back then with good success, but now looks like it's coming back. Going for a PET scan in a few days, then they will decide what to do from there. He has been a great man in my sister's life, and I ask that you keep him in your prayers.
God and the soldier we adore,
In times of danger, not before.
The danger gone, the trouble righted,
God's forgotten, the soldier slighted.
In times of danger, not before.
The danger gone, the trouble righted,
God's forgotten, the soldier slighted.

Double Amen. Cancer is evil. He is a good man based on your comments, hate to hear it and hope he kicks cancer in the rear end again!
Just some guy's opinion.

Re: Brother In Law Diagnosed With Cancer
Well, the doctors say that the cancer is the same kind he had the last time. They say that it should respond well to radiation, and they plan ten doses of radiation. Due to the size of the cancer, its location, and the fact that my BIL has a degree of COPD, they don't want him to be under general anesthetic for as long as it would take to remove it surgically. They seem to feel very confident that radiation should work well.
Continued prayers much appreciated.
