This is kind of like the gun store that took down the 30.06 and 30.07 signs when everyone complained. They aren't sorry for what they did, only that they got caught.
God and the soldier we adore,
In times of danger, not before.
The danger gone, the trouble righted,
God's forgotten, the soldier slighted.

I'm just sharing their statements. I *hope* it's true but they messed up BIG time and will have to do something pretty darn spectacular to earn forgiveness, as far as I'm concerned.
They should put their money where they words are...and donate a big, fat check to the NRA, earmarked for fighting anti-2A, anti-firearm legislation.

They're going to have to fire all of their senior management or they are done.

They knew what their lobbyist was doing. A big move on a stance on legislation doesn't happen without approval.

Intersection where crony capitalism meets socialist totalitarianism, and where those in the middle get the middle finger.

In a way, there's no ideological difference to me between this example and of LE groups supporting anti-2A bills, what someone here appropriately titled "rights for me but not for thee" here.

All maggots. Every one of them.

And as for RRA and Springfield, until their so called leadership is ousted without a golden parachute option, I will go out of my way not to purchase anything they have to offer, and urge others I come in contact with to do the same.

I'm gonna wait a little longer to see how far the SA prices drop before I pull the trigger on a new M1A, boycott away folks.

I don't see SA or RR coming out of this without a major hit and change of leadership. After reading the documentation, I will tell my students when asked that these companies have been caught supporting gun control by making large donations to such entities.

Oh crap! I was all set to pull the trigger on a long coveted M1/A. I'm kinda wishing I bought it a few weeks ago, but I can't do it with what I now know.

Crap, gonna have a hard time justifying a new XD now :mad5

What do you bet they are propping up anti-2A groups in hopes of them creating another gun scare, so they can drum up more business.

Dang, first they were exposed doing the dirty deed, then covered it up. And now got caught lying about it. That's about as damaging as it can be. There are only a few that can get away with lying and covering it up....................... hhhmmmm I wonder who that could be?
Just some guy's opinion.

You could always buy one from Fulton Armory instead.

It'll probably be a better quality rifle, to boot.

Just a normal day in Illinois politics.
The left lies about everything. Truth is a liberal value, and truth is a conservative value, but it has never been a left-wing value. People on the left say whatever advances their immediate agenda. Power is their moral lodestar; therefore, truth is always subservient to it. - Dennis Prager
