The saying goes, Remember The Alamo not remember San Jacinto. Anyways... This site had helped me a lot during the whole LTC process so I thought I owed it to everyone to hop on and display my timeline.
02/07/17 LTC Class Taken
02/10/17 Payed $140 Fee
02/14/17 Uploaded CHL-100
02/14/17 Fingerprinting
02/15/17 Email confirming supporting documents received.
03/01-03/17 Status Update on website, all green except print pending in yellow
03/07/17 Status Update: Mailed
This timeline probably represents what it is like for most younger applicants with a clean record who are going through the process. I am 27 and have never been charged with anything other than a Misdemeanor Class C.
Hoping it gets here by Friday!
Thanks Y'all.
2/8/17- DPS app
2/13/17- fingerprints
2/19/17- LTC class and submitted certificate. (That was Sunday, then Monday was holiday.)
3/01/17- website showed nothing until this day, all green but background check and print pending.
3/02/17- background check complete. Print pending.
3/07/17- mailed
3/10/17- 2 envelopes were literally the only things in the mailbox... an LTC for me and an LTC for my wife.
We're thrilled to have gotten them at the same time. And grateful for everything we've learned from this site's members.
A co-worker took her class this weekend. She has submitted the application and documentation today. However, she cannot setup a fingerprint appointment. The Indentigo website says it cannot find her in the system.
I have had my CHL for a while and it was a different process then. Can anyone provide some insight?

I found that it sometimes takes some time for IdentoGo to find a recent applicant in their system. I am not sure the timeframe, but I do recall it was not available right away for my wife and I. I want to say there was a separate email that came a bit later that gave instructions and maybe even a link to access the Identogo stuff.
