The stories today about all the senior management at the state department resigning is just another example of the biased media lies. 4 people were let go by the Trump administration. They did not resign. The most senior of those ran one of ten departments at state. Yet many, many media outlets jumped on the bandwagon and said the sky is falling.

It is my understanding that all presidential political appointees are required to submit a letter of resignation when a new president takes office. The new president can pick and chose which ones are accepted.

I believe you are correct. My point was that the Washington Post and several other media organizations published articles that portrayed the state department as being in disarray over the mass exodus of senior talent, which was not true at all.

I agree with the premise of your comment. My comment was regarding gullible people falling for the the slanted reporting that makes the executive orders Trump is signing worse than they are.

Here's the difference between Trump's orders and Obama's so far. Trump's are executive orders giving the executive branch orders and directives to follow the law. They counter/offset/resend the Obama executive orders that erroneously made or changed laws. Trump is leading from the oval office and Obama was legislating from the Oval office. There is a big difference.

I don't think there are near as many of those "gullible" people there used to be. Trust in the media is at a very low level according to polling.

I'm not willing to bet my family's future on that. Ignoring the gullible people is part of what got us where we are today. We're not that far removed from the paradigm that staying informed meant reading the newspaper and watching the news. Why else would the liberals take control of the media? It was so they could control the story and push their agenda to those gullible people.

Have you considered how close the popular vote was in the presidential election? What role did the media play in driving that? Are you trusting the same pollsters that concluded there's no way Trump would be the Republican nominee and that Hillary would be next president?

Trump with his pen, signs executive action to limit refugees from countries with terrorists unless they are from a religious minority group.

For some reason, refugees from religious minority groups, were denied admission into the US under the previous administration.

Today is one full week in office. Five working days if you start on Monday. Liberals are wondering what hit them. No doubt they wish their previous President had been as hard working. We of course can be thankful in 8 years, he didn't really get that much done except trips to Hawaii and golf.

Trump met with May the PM of the UK today. (her name makes for interesting reading comprehension) From my listening to the Today show this morning, who seemed to leave the UK visit out, it was all about yesterday when Trump said he would add a 20% tariff on imports from Mexico to pay for the wall after the President of Mexico declined to visit Trump as planned. The Today show had on Fox the former President of Mexico to say Trump was evil. Of course this would not be considered a mainstream news source using a foreign government to attempt to sway public opinion against the President. All the Boston newspaper could come up negative about this was that this tariff would raise the price of guacamole and some beer. Telecommunications magnate Carlos Slim called Trump a “great negotiator".

The Vice President appeared at a right to life rally in the Capital, a first for any sitting vice president.

Regarding President Trump's comments regarding his disagreement on torture and enhanced interrogation technics. It takes a strong leader to admit he disagrees with a subordinate but will defer to the subordinate because of his expertise.

I respect him for acknowledging the disagreement but letting the person he picked make the call.

Per Fox news, after only 5 working days in office, President Trump has already worked on approx. 90% of his campaign promises. 5 DAYS! Mr. Chuck and company better keep up or they will find themselves stuck on 1-2 issues while 4-5 more hit em the next day. I love the energy and commitment President Trump has shown. And tomorrow, he will be having conversations with Putin. Which, tomorrow is Saturday. Isn't that a great change? A President working on a weekend.

A WAPO article comes to the conclusion that Trump didn't ban refugees where he was planning hotels.

Therefore he is protecting his personal business interests implying a conflict of interest.

Yeah Hotels in Yemen, Lybia, Syria Iraq and Iran, just what Trump wants to have.

Iran has retaliated by banning Americans. Yep that spoils all our summer plans.
