Applied on line June first for renewal its now September 24 and I still don't have it. It expired June 9. I'm looking for it in December. I sent an email to the state the first part of this month calling them lazy. I have had a license since they came out so I very rarely packed anymore. And when I did it was a Taurus. Theres all kind of stories how they misfired when people really need them.

After a loong 6 months, i finally received my license.
Someone can have my spot in here. It was enjoyable reading what everyone had to say. Here is my timeline

3/04/16 online app
3/9 fingerprint
3/12 chl class
3/14 submitted paper work online
3/15 received email confirmation from dps
5/29 received letter from dps asking for more documents
6/09 sent paperwork
9/24 received license

I checked my status yesterday and it said background under review still so i dont know whem it changed.

Forgot to sign my CHL-100 so received that notification on 03-02-2016
Resubmitted my CHL-100 on the same day 03-02-2016 and sent it back express with sig requested.
Then not a peep for 4 months, not even the status screen.
I call them on 08-03-2016, they have no info to give me
3 days later, my status screen shows: Fingerprints and background check pending, everything else received
Status screen changes 09-05-2016 to print pending
Plastic in hand 09-15-2016

I'm a 25 yr Army vet, submitted my honorably discharged, very successful career DD214 and the only glitch was my CHL-100 screw up on my part.

Still, it took them almost 2 months to see that?

Then I believe I just went back to the bottom of the pile.

Alls well that ends well I guess.

October 11th Status page changed, all green checks except background check under review...."It will be mine"!!!!
