Ah okay, can't wait to get mine! Going to drop off my RMR'd M&P CORE tonight to have a holster made for it, then I'll just be waiting for my license. :hurry:
How are you liking the m&p with a rmr?
Actually just got the RMR on a couple days ago, so far I like it! I had the RM08A at first, but the dual illumination just wasn't bright enough, combined with my astigmatism which made the triangle pretty blurry. So I swapped out for a RM01 and so far so good!

Mine sat like that for 7 business days after I got the confirmation email that all of my documents had been received. After that, 2 business days in Background check pending and now I'm in Print Pending. I'm hoping I'll have mine in hand next week!
That's good to hear! I actually woke up to this Image

So hopefully I'm right behind you!

Right on. I've been wanting to go that route but I also have astigmatism so the blurry factor is the biggest thing for me

Yeah its the killer for us. The RM01 is still a little blurry, but not near as bad as the RM08. If you're local to DFW you're more than welcome to shoot it and try it out!

mikeysherm wrote:Hi everyone, I'm brand new to the forum and found it because of this thread. I just wanted to provide my info for everyone else's future reference.

Me, my wife, and my father, mother, and brother-in-law all applied for our LTC at the same time. Below are our time lines:

Me, my wife, and father-in-law:

Class, application, supporting documents sent - 8/06
Fingerprints - 8/09
Everything received awaiting background - 8/11
Print Pending - 8/13
Mailed - 8/18
License in hand - today, 8/19

Brother-in-law:

background and print pending showed up one day later than us respectively, Still print pending as of 8/19

Mother-in-law:

Everything submitted the same day as the rest of us, but no checklist or update has appeared on the site.

Overall 10 business days and 13 total days for me, my wife and father-in-law to receive license in hand. Excited for us but confused on my mother-in-laws progress.
Update 9/1

Mother-in-laws license came in today. Not sure if it had anything to do with but seems like a pretty big coincidence. Her DL was due to expire in Oct. A checklist did not show up until she renewed her DL. On top of it her DL and LTC both came in today at the same time.

Application submitted: July 28
Fingerprints: August 5
LTC Class Completed: August 6
CHL-100 Submitted: August 6

I just got an email confirmation stating that the supporting documents were all received so I'm guessing that's a good start. We'll see how it goes.
Status changed to mailed as of September 1st! Woohoo.

As I see many people recieve their CHL within a month or so. I have a question about an Non Resident CHL. I applied in May and with all of my supporting documents turned in by the 10th. My status still says fingerprints and background check under review. I have called 4 different times and they say all of my documents have been received and they have not sent me anything in the mail requesting further information or saying I've been denied. The last time I called about 2 weeks ago the lady said she didnt know what the hold up was and that she was going to send it over to processing hoping it would jumpstart the process. To this day still no change in status. Any suggestions? Has anyone else ran into this problem?

Thanks,

Here's a question for the group, is there any difference in appearance between a resident vs non resident CCW?

Thanks,
I had this issue when I applied for mine....I won't say how long mine took to get here but it could likely be that they are having to contact ur state and get info from them.....be patient trust me....but if they are sending it to a SUP then ur wait may be soon over in a week or two also u applied during the weird times frame between feb-may whn therewas a big hold up urs could still be stuck in that que hope that helps good luck

Finger prints submitted 8/27
CHL-8 received 8/29
Shows pending paperwork

I'm only 19 and in the National Guard, is there any extra paperwork I need to submit?
