Called 2 times this month and they say it's still sitting in "eligibility" but they haven't sent me any request for supporting documentation of any sort.

I'm hoping I see all green in the next few days but I'm done holding my breath at this point. I know that one of these days it will be worth the wait.

What has everyone done to help expedite the process if anything? I want to write my Rep. Anyone that is for/ or against that?

What would you do?

Application submitted online 7/13
Fingerprints taken at IdentoGo 7/14
LTC class taken 7/16
CHL 100 submitted online 7/17

Status changed on 7/26
Application : Received
Fingerprints : Under review
Affidavits : Received
DL or ID : Valid
Citizenship : No documentation required
Passport Photo Holder (Out of State Only) : Received
Photo (Out of State Only) : Received
Proof of Classroom training : Received
Proof of Proficiency training : Received
Fee : Received
Background Check : Under review
License To Carry A Handgun : Print pending completion of application review

Just waiting and checking daily now lol. Hopefully something happens soon.

As of 8-13-16, before their site went under maintenance, was still at fingerprints/bg under review. Crazy to see all these applicants who completed after me get theirs issued before me, some barely even two weeks later...Anyone have a clue why some people, myself included, are having their fingerprints under review for so long?
I can speak to one situation that seems to really speed up the process. Active or Honorable discharged military with a DD214 submitted not only waives the fee but they almost always get processed faster. When I submitted my application at the beginning of the year it took 75 days. My son who is currently in the National Guard changed to print pending in less than 2 weeks.

Just what I know of..

I'm not sure if that's always the case. I turned in a dd214 with honorable discharge on 7/24. Seems like some that have had everything submitted already have plastic.

Anyone who sent their stuff in late July & complaining when it's mid-August makes me laugh. Those that applied back in Nov '15-March '16 would really laugh. Anyone that's gets their license in less than 60 days should be appreciative & count your blessings.

I understand. It's just strange to see others post that theirs came so fast while others that submitted at the same time or before haven't even had status updates.

I would contact my state representative. HINT: stop emailing the DPS, and pick up the phone. Do the same with your state representative. These people are inundated with emails, and if you even get a reply, it'll be far longer than you'd hoped to have waited.

At least it's progressing... but don't do your happy dance yet. Mine stayed on PRINT PENDING for a week before it was all green. Hopefully within 10 days you will have some plastic in your wallet. :cheers2:
