Welcome Mac, and congrats. on the new shooting range.
I just ran across this thread. Haven't been on the forum
much lately.
I come to Humble quite often and wil be seeing you.

My mother inlaw lives there and I grew up there and
graduated from Humble in 59. We didn't need a range
then but we do now. Thanks and Good Luck

Hey Mac, this great news. My parents live off of 1960 and Wortham Blvd. I'm pretty sure you know where that is. From my parents house to your range is not even a 20 minute drive!

BTW, how are you handling on letting teens under 21 to shoot with a guardian that is over 21+ yrs old? I hope you guys are not as strict as Top Gun Range. I'm a 22 yrs old CHLer and my brother is 20. We know the rules about firearm safety from head to toe. We went to Top Gun and they wouldn't let my brother shoot with me. He's been shooting at other gun ranges in Houston, but Top Gun is the only shooting range we been to that denied him. That made me really upset and we left immediately to ASC instead. I hope you guys aren't going to be like Top Gun because if you're not then you are looking at two repeat customers soon ;-)

I think someone stated earlier about pricing. I would also love to know about that too.

Please keep us updated about the Grand Opening. I want to check out the place soon when I'm in town.

EDIT: I also forgot to say that it's a good idea to have a website up for your Gun Range. It will give people more idea about your place. Try going to Top Gun website or ASC website. They have good idea there that will get you started.

I cannot wait for this range to open!!!! I work with Mac, and have known him for a few years. This range is in the perfect location, and will be the only air conditioned range within quite a distance! Cheers to Mac and his family.

Several years ago there was an indoor range in almost that same area. Any connection to that range?

Stopped by today. Very nice folks there. Showed me and my family around & talked to my kids like they belonged as much as anyone else would. They encouraged my wife to get her CHL and showed her to where the classroom will be set up, and suggested IDPA for all of us (they plan to have some IDPA stuff there and maybe even a "shoot house" upstairs in the members only area).

They aren't QUITE finished yet, and said they were hoping to be done and open in about another three weeks.

My thanks to them, and I will be going shooting there when they open!

WOW with all the folks in the area heading for Shilo we will need to make
reservations to get in to shoot or take a number and stand in line around the block.

Does anyone know the name of the shooting range? I haven't heard any updated news on this range yet.

Sweet!!!

It looks like I'm in trouble. This shooting range is only 10-15 mins away from my parents house. Looks like this will be the place to shoot when I'm in town...

Went by today, met Mack, got the 5 cent tour and spent 2 hours of my lunch hour talking  .

They are finishing up the bullet traps for the down stairs ranges and hope to be operational in 2-3 weeks.

Mack has lots of nifty ideas he wants to implement.

As I told him, just get it open to start with then adjust to what his customer's want and need.

Looks really good and I can't wait for the Grand Opening.
Reasonable gun control is hitting your target with the first shot.
