First post, glad to be here. Timeline:

Application (online): 12/27/15
Fingerprints: 12/30/15
Class: 1/9/16
Documents submitted: 1/9/16
Confirmation email ('START' date): 1/11/16

As of today, 59 business days have passed. And it appears those who started around the same time are receiving plastic. Fingers crossed.

UPDATE: Plastic in hand on 4/11.

Contacted my State Rep and received a roboresponse only. I sent an email to State Senator today.
Tried to contact RSD but cannot get through.

Any suggestions other than wait?

My stuff was verified 1/22 and I received my approval 2 days ago. I didn't do anything else besides wait. It is just a waiting game.

What gets me is they don't even allow you to get in the queue to wait for someone to answer your call. How do they get away with this? It's embarrassing.

I don't know what the official start date is. If it is from confirmation email date then I'm at 27 business days or 37 days total. If it is from all in date then I'm at 22 business days or 30 days total. This is up there with one of the worst waiting periods of my life!

I've been following many posts on this website for about a month or so and decided it was time to post. I'm not exactly in any hurry, just wondering more than anything.

I think I may have made a clerical error. I applied for my license in Jan. A week or so later, I took the class and did my fingerprints the same day. I submitted all supporting documents the next day. Here's where it gets tricky. I don't "think" I ever received a confirmation e-mail. That's not to say that I did receive an e-mail, but then deleted it knowing full well that I just submitted my documents and thought the e-mail was frivolous. Big mistake. Reviewing all the posts in this forum made me realize I better make sure I get a confirmation e-mail, plus I may have goofed submitting the documents to RSD the first time and never actually received an e-mail (I've seen a post or two to make sure you select the right buttons when submitting online docs). Whatever the case, I re-submitted the docs and this time I did get a confirmation e-mail.

Unfortunately, I think my clock has reset because I read somewhere that said do not re-submit supporting docs as this will only slow down the process. Great. So, basically I wasted almost 3 full weeks.

I have not contacted RSD in any way, nor have I contacted state rep or governor's office. I plan on waiting it out.

Here's my timeline:

Application: 1/21/16
Fingerprints: 1/31/16
CHL-100: 1/31/16
Uploaded docs to RSD: 2/1/16
Re-uploaded docs to RSD: 2/19/16
Confirmation e-mail: 2/19/16
Website changed: N/A

I'll let you know if anything changes. I'll keep watching this forum.

This is exactly my time line, almost point by point. I too didn't receive an email confirmation, except about the fingerprints being received. So, I called a week after I uploaded by CHL-100 and was assured that my application and supporting documents were complete. I haven't called since, but haven't heard a peep either. I did send an email Monday asking if they would expedite my application.

Looking forward to hearing any changes you see, I'll post mine as well. Good luck to both of us!

Okay Mikezee1970, I broke down. I emailed the Governor at the end of last week, and yesterday got a phone call from the DPS saying my application had been approved and I should get my plastic in 7-10 days. Haven't changed the status on the website yet, but I did get a response!
