Supercat
I got mine when I was heavy into Paint Ball. I started out playing cautious then figured charging is not a bad thing and you can throw people off balance.
Diving and rolling over bunkers someone said you look like a cat hopping across the field.
And I won alot of matches so Supercat was born (I even have a tattoo of it)

"What's the Origin of Your User Name?"
I was involved in a business negotiation with some out of state folks. My owners were set at their price and position (as in take it or leave it), but I agreed to meet the out of state folks at DFW for a face to face meeting. They started in with all the reasons why we should meet them half way and I restated our position.
Finally one of them pointed at his watch and said "that we don't have much time here, we need to get this settled." I responded that I was on Texas time and I didn't expect we were going to have an agreement. I guess I used the term Texas time because they had made jokes about Texas in some their phone conversations.
The next week they sent us a contract for our asking amount and started referring to me as OnTexasTime instead of by my name.
When I needed a user name for the first forum I got on, the name came to mind and I have used it on a couple others. When I did a search one time I found several using the name as well. Someone on the University of Texas alumni forum and someone on a California general discussion forum use the same user name and there is also a dot.com business that is not me.

I've worked on large diesel generators for the last 29 years so it seemed appropriate.

If I'm deprived of it more than 5 hours I get the same wayCoffeeAddict wrote:I drink a lot of coffee. Been using it for a while on several different boards since I was 19.
