It ONLY took them 58 days... This next part is going to be even longer, isn't it?

Ladies and Gentlemen, I would like to ask your guidance in this very important matter:

Life is excellent when this is all we have to worry about.

I have a hard time with the 1911/service 9mm argument. The service 9mms are excellent weapons, but I have to agree that the 1911 is poetry, expressed through steel.

Carry all three!

Now there's a challenge...

Now we'll see who gets the coveted 4:00 position! ;-)

That's it, a New York reload plus a Bronx backup.

All are nice guns.

Carry the one you have the most range time with. If that is a tie, pick the one are you most accurate with?

Good luck,
Fred

All three is a fascinating concept, though with the summers here, even a desert rat like me might have some trouble.

Accuracy, realistically, is about the same between the glock and the 1911 inside of 15 yards. after that, the glock is just a touch easier to shoot, probably because of the...shall we say gentler cartridge? Dont want to start a flame war here, even if I got the glock for free and wouldn't have paid a dime more for a 9mm. It's not that 9mm isn't a good cartridge, it's just that i'm a dyed in the wool 1911/.45ACP man, and have heard too many stories of the 9mm failing to stop. Maybe I'm just old world.

Speaking of carrying all three, though- can anyone suggest a .380 load that won't break the bank? I'm running some speer gold dot hollowpoints right now, and while they function alright, I'm concerned about their stopping power.

Got my plastic today. Overall time, 59 days. Within the requirement, but just barely. Looks like I'll be carrying the 1911 on my Wally Walk, with the PPK/s as a BUG. God, it's beautiful
