55 days here, and same story, nada
Re: "Waiting Room"
Same here... Day 50 and still waiting...
My goal for this week is to be patient and not call them until Friday. I'm using the time to sell stuff on Craigslist to afford my new gun. Don't want to be carrying around the old revolver for very long. Hard to conceal a 6 shooter with a 4.5" barrel.

Here's my timeline
12/18 application started
12/20 CHL-100 submitted
12/21 LTC docs received confirmation
12/28 Fingerprinted
2/8 no website change
I know it's been only 49 days but I wont call till next week at the 60 day mark.
Side note: if I updated my drivers license address since submitting the application will that delay the card? I applied with the new address for LTC and after that changed the drivers license address. Thanks!

Re: "Waiting Room"
New to forum first time post!
Here is my timeline
1/2/16 Took LTC class and received CHL, application started and received confirmation email
1/7/16 fingerprinted and submitted all documents, received confirmation email stating please allow up to 6 weeks for processing from RSD.
So 2/11/16 will be 5 weeks since RSD received all docs, but initial application was submitted on the 2nd so my question is did the clock start on the 2nd or the 7th?
I have tried to be patient , I realize I am only 35 days in on Thursday and I have not called the RSD but getting anxious!
I had a friend who got his license back in August before the change to LTC on January 1, 2016 and he said it only took 3 weeks to plastic!

Calling this early won't help you, just give you more frustration

Just wondering how you get 49 days already? I was on the assumption that not 1 day is counted until your "final supporting doc's" were sent, & fingerprinting would be the final supporting doc's. So if that's the case, your final item needed would have been 12-28 or 12-29, depending on if they (RSD) actually received your fingerprint's the same day or next day 12-29...?.?.? Looking at many timelines here, that is correct,, most folks start the waiting once EVERYTHING is in, not application or CHL-100 day sent, "final item" or last item needed & fingerprint's is one of those items "needed". Correct me someone, if I'm wrong.
I hope I'am wrong. Otherwise if your waiting time starts AFTER only app & CHL-100 were sent I would be after 60 days without any notifications of sort nor request of any doc's missing,, nothing. I have spoken to them (he apologized taken so long) last Friday & again they said everything is in & that they would have a supervisor call me either yesterday or today with an update, & neither has happened as of this moment.

Re: "Waiting Room"
As I understand it, all documents as well as fingerprints have to be recieved to start processing. They can't start the background check without prints.GlassG19 wrote:rl14 wrote:Here's my timeline

Re: "Waiting Room"
I called today for the first time at day 51. Curiosity and impatience got the best of me. I called in to the main number, and was given the option to have a call returned in 13 minutes. They called me back in about 10 minutes. The lady was polite, said they had all of the info, and "your application is in process and it should be another 2-3 weeks." She didn't offer up any more specific info.
I get the feeling that the response of "it should be another 2-3 weeks" is just a canned standard response. It didn't seem like she did anything more than looking me up in their system.

Re: "Waiting Room"
Ok thanks, let's say fingerprints actually received the 29th for reference, that puts me at 52 days next week when I originally planned to call. I'm really patient for whenever the arrival date may be, but I'm just concerned if my drivers license getting updated will mess up things. Any thoughts on this?GlassG19 wrote:KC80 wrote:As I understand it, all documents as well as fingerprints have to be recieved to start processing.
