Hey guys Just wanted to say hello to everyone as I am new to this forum. I wasnt sure if it was worth mkaing a thread over but this forum has helped my wait and noticed many have been waiting longer than I by far also makes me more impatient!

Timeline:

12/20/15-application as far as possible
12/21/15- Finger prints
12/23/15 CHL 100 complete
12/23/15 finished application and uploaded all information to DPS Via upload.

I was told doing it online was the more efficent way and should have made it quicker but im not thinking thats the case.

2/2/16- Joined forum to share my impatient manner with others in the same boat.

I called today. Nothing about that conversation went as I planned. Basically she told me that even though I was 6 weeks or so in, they havent even begun moving forward with my paperwork. They said that they were still going through applications that were first in line and that were sent the beginning of the month DECEMBER. So it will be several more weeks before they even get to it than it will be 60 days once they get to it.

Pretty awesome. So all in all looks like it could take somewhere in the 4-6 month range lol

Don't be disheartened once they have your application in the queue it goes pretty quick but they are overwhelmed with apps right now
Keep us updated there are a lot of folks in your shoes

First of all welcome to the forum.
Don't second guess yourself, doing it by mail is definitely slower. End of year and first of year seems to get really busy.
