That's when you say "Yes dear, I'll take care of it right away." Then kiss her and head to the favorite GS. Oh, and you'll need some ammo, and a new holster too. And while you're out, just to be safe, you'll need some range time to be 'sure' you know how to operate it safely.

All in the name of being safe and keeping her happy of course.

When you come home with your new gun be sure to tell her it was on sale!

Just make sure she doesn't rely on the external safety entirely. Finger should stay off the trigger, muzzle should be pointed in a safe direction, even with the safety engaged.

Safeties, like all mechanical parts, can fail - and positive habits shouldn't be neglected!

Then state the policy of no return on weapons, jump up from table and say, " I'll be right back!"
Return to store and purchase a Kimber TLE II and order a couple Wilson Mags and a Miami Shoulder rig.

Then take her to her favorite restaurant or offer to cook (and clean up) her favorite meal- kiss her on the forehead while touching her arm and say" thank you for caring"

Resurrecting My post from 5 years ago. I ended up with a Kimber Crimson Ultra carry II. Mainly due to not finding an STI locally. I have been one of the lucky ones as it feeds anything I put in it. But guess who carries a Glock 19 with "no safety" yes my wife.

That's what I told the instructor in my second CHL class. He was cool with it and then discussed safeties with everyone else because I was the only one in the class with a Glock.
