EDIT: Decided to share something (below) about the Bourne Ultimatum and it quickly spawned a movie-gun errors conversation, which I think is great. Perhaps our fearless leader will see that threads like this necessitate an Off-Topic forum. Just a thought...
Sooooooo off-topic, I know, I know. BUT, I had to point this out. We saw Bourne Ultimatum last night (easily the best of the three films) and couldn't help but notice that a major scene, Jason Bourne holds a man at gun point with what is CLEARLY a Glock. Only seconds later, after the camera has switched to Bourne's face and back to the gun/hostage view, he is CLEARLY holding a Sig Sauer. Hehehe, they thought I wouldn't notice...

My favorite movie gun messup is in Batman when Jack Napier (Jack Nicholson) is in the Axis Chemical factory standing up on the catwalk taking aim with his pistol (CLEARLY a Colt New Service revolver) to shoot Commissioner Gordon (camera shot changes), he cocks the gun (CLEARLY now a S&W revolver) and Batman kicks it out of his hand, (the scene changes) the gun hits the floor of the catwalk (now back to being CLEARLY a Colt New Service revolver)

He thought better of it and decided to upgrade.

Only a person into guns would have been able to pick that out.
I can relate to a diff movie since I am into Motorcylces also. The chase scene an MI:II when they where on the sport bikes. If you watch the tires of them they kept changing from street tires to dirt tires dpending on what eviroment they where in.

Yep, and I really like movies with dirt bikes and inline fours that sound like Harleys...
There is also a scene in S.W.A.T. where Collen Farrel and the other guy on the team is going up against each other in a bet made my Samuel Jackson. If you notice when it gets down to the close range shots with the .45's the other guys goes to slide lock and he keeps acting like hes shooting. I pointed that out to my wife and she told me I was weird for noticing. To witch I replied Thank you.
In "Man on Fire" with Denzel Washington, he has his Glock to a BG's head threatening him to get him to talk. The camera focuses on the BG and then you hear a hammer cock as the threatening gets really serious.
On a related tone, I can't recall specifics, but I have seen folks holding 1911's as if they are ready to shoot and then for heightened effect, will stroke the hammer back to put it into single action.
On the good side, I saw an episode of "24" where the Secretary of Defense acquires an AK-47 during his rescue. He checks the chamber and mag condition before assuming it will go bang when needed. I thought that was a nice touch.
