Been following for awhile. Haven't posted yet. My timeline is as follows:

Class: 12/5
All supporting documents mailed: 12/10
Fingerprints: 12/10
Confirmation email: 12/14

Called today and they said my background was in review. 44 days so far. I do have a non disqualifying misdemeanor from 12 or so years ago. I did not ask for a timeline for the review when I called. The lady seemed annoyed so I figured why press the issue. May call tomorrow and get someone who is enjoying their day and ask for a timeline on review. For now, I wait....not so patiently.

Right there with you brother. Was told yesterday that mine should be complete by the end of the week. So I'm looking for it next week. Best case is Saturday!

IMO, I think you will have yours within the next 2 weeks. Only because your timeline's are the middle of December & with folks who got final email confirmation in the first 2 weeks of December are just now receiving their licenses.

I know Jim, I'm right there with you. "We should" have ours between & around 8-12th, physically in hand, (IMO)
I have faith. When I spoke to "him" @ RSD he said they're finishing up early December app's & that mine shouldn't be much longer, give them till late next week.

same here 12/14 confirmation email, i called yesterday and probably got the same lady  who was quite short to say the least, i did not want to face any more of her wrath by asking how long the back ground would take...all she said is that my back ground was in review, sent off and waiting for it to be sent back. whatever that means.

I got someone like that last week. Has anyone tried asking for a specific phone operator? When I call next week I'm gonna try asking for Victor and see if they will do that. I'd rather wait an extra 5 minutes for him than talk to Nurse Ratchet.

Unfortunately, I have only spoke to 1 very nice lady, the other "man" was very nice & helpful.

In an effort to decrease call volume RDS is employing Mothers Demand Action to staff their phones. :rolll

Good news of a slightly different type...
My company's board has been discussing creating a handgun policy because they don't want us carrying at the office. This has been going on for over a month, and they interviewed people on both sides of the debate. I was pretty sure that any day would walk in to see at least a 30.07 sign on the door, if not a 30.06. Today they finally came to a decision:
They will not create a corporate policy which is specifically designed to circumvent any federal or state law in any facility thst we operate.
Read that as "Law abiding gun owners are welcome here!"
