That tells "US" we aren't that far out now. I'm sure mine will be flagged though cause a misdemeanor from 1993. You will get yours before me because of it. :waiting:
Mine is squeaky clean. 18 years of EMS and making sure I kept my certification. :biggrinjester: :thumbs2:

Congrats! Mine is non disqualifying, DPS told me not to worry about it, so I'm not. You should be able to start watching the mail box & web site too. :tiphat:

Alot of us seem to be in the same window. My docs were received on Dec. 20th.

Parnel- :cheers2:
im happy for you, but your post makes me sad though. Makes me feel like I gotta wait another whole month.

I bought my concealed holster today. You'd be suprised how hard it is to find an in the pants holster that will fit a Colt .38 Police Positive revolver. Gander mountain had me covered!

Man the dates are all over the place. I was complete on 12/14 but it seems like I have anywhere from a week or less to a month to wait.

A fine firearm choice, mine is the Police Positive Special. Thank you for the information on Gander Mountain, I have 2 OWB holsters that I bought used, but no CC.
If your Colt revolver ever needs a tune up, I recommend The Gunsmith Shoppe, next to the Winchester Gallery and range, in Fort Worth. He has brought 2 of mine back to life, with a sweet trigger and tight lockup.

Newbie here checking in. Submitted my docs 12/21/15. Still no status change on the Texas.gov License To Carry site. I'm hoping to have plastic around Valentine's Day which would be about 50 days from submission.

It was looking like i was getting close. Email confirmation 12/29. Just got off the phone and was told it takes 6-8 weeks to "attach documents to application" then another 60 days to do the background check. I thought I would be told another 2 or 3 weeks. Not another 2 months. soul crushing :banghead:

Class: 12/12
App & Upload CHL-100: 12/13
Docs Received Email: 12/14

Spoke to them on the phone today and was told I was approved and should be receiving plastic late this week or early next week. Still no change on the website.
