LTC website was updated for me this morning, So I'll be eagerly camped out at my mailbox the next few days!

Just a little over 60 days for me, that's including Thanksgiving AND Christmas, AND New Years. Not to mention I had to resubmit the proper copy of my DD214. I'll have to give props to DPS at this point, that's some pretty good turn around.

Called again today to check in. A week ago they said it was in the hands of a technician who was running the background check, that it would be another 2-3 weeks. So today I call and the guy didn't have much update on the computer he was looking at. He actually asked me to hold on while he went down the hallway to ask the tech where he stood with it. Shocking for him to take the time to do that, props to the folks down there. When he got back he told me that it looks like its in good shape. "Officially" he said it would be another 30 days but nobody thinks it would take that long. Expect another 1-2 weeks, I should see something around the first week in February. Today marks day 50 so at this point hopefully all of that is accurate with no hiccups and this thing comes in around day 60 which seems like what it is running right now.

CHL Class - 11/30/15
Online Application & confirmation - 12/1/15
Fingerprinted/uploaded/supporting doc confirmation - 12/3/15

Checking status online shows nothing but to allow adequate time for processing. I finally called DPS today. They said my application was entered YESTERDAY. So it took over 30 days to enter. They said I should expect 60 days from this point. So I'll be checking the forum hoping to see someone with similar timeline with some luck.

WOW! 2-3 wks?? That means the person(s) printing the LTC's is super stacked up. I bet you'll have it tomorrow or Tuesday though.

Submitted last items on 12/14, received confirmation that night. Not a word since, any guesses on how much longer I have. No arrests and many years with TS clearance.

If they are telling me the truth when I called last Monday, no telling how much longer for you too. See my other post in "waiting room". My timeline is 1 week after you.
I'm sure your "should" be sooner than mine though. I'm guessing within next few weeks. :waiting:

Well guess I'll fill that empty chair you mentioned

Does calling accomplish anything or is it just pissing them off

Not sure, I'm guessing it depends on who you get on the phone just like anything else, all depends on who answers the phone.

Well I think I'll give it a little time. They say 60 days, so if I haven't heard something by mid Feb I'll call them.

Me too, I will just wait to it out. 2-3 week of February I'm thinking. :thumbs2:
