Took the class in November
Did online app December 15th
Print scan done on December 17th at local IdenttoGo/MorphoTrust (guy who did the scans said Austin would have results by 22nd)
I submitted a .pdf scan of my CHL-100 class completion form via upload when I did my online application.

I got an email from RSD verifying completion of my online app. Got a 2nd email verifying upload of my CHL-100.
Haven't heard anything further from either IdentoGo or RSD concerning electronic print scan.

Plugged the code on my IdentoGo receipt into their website; it sez "Your enrollment has been successfully processed and the results have been delivered to your agency" with a status date of December 19th.

Now when I log into the RSD application site under 'returning user' my only two options are 'logout' and 'apply for instructor certification'.

Other than the waiting, the process is easier, cheaper, and less of a pain then back in the mid 1990's after CHL was first implemented.

The clock is ticking. Just keep checking back and one day it will have options to make changes to your mailing address and reporting a lost CHL. At that point you should have it in the mail within 5-7 days.

You're insane to complain, At least you didn't have a shotgun wedding or a stain on your shirt. While you wait, just shave your face with some mace in the dark, and save all your food stamps, but don't go burning down the trailer park!!!

go to uenroll.identogo.com (for some reason I type 'identgo' half the time, which doesn't work...)
select "Check Status" from lower left region of main screen
select the 2nd tab "UE ID/Date of Birth", plug in the UE ID gibberish code from your receipt, and your birthdate, click "NEXT" button
scroll down to bottom of "Service Status" screen and check service date and text description

I screwed things up several different ways at first before I figured out that a UE-ID is NOT a 'Service Code' and that "UE ID/Date of Birth" on the second screen was a TAB; on my laptop it all comes up as pale blue lines on a white background, it looked more like a header or title....(using Google Chrome over Win7Home.....)

As I was driving to work today, the local rock station played the Beck song referenced in the title. And I was reminded once again how well those lines capture the emotional essence of waiting for your plastic...... :cryin

No license, no website change yet. I figured I'd at least wait til after January 19th (30 days from my prints being received) before playing telephone tag. Given that staffing was probably 'thin' over the holidays, maybe even the end of the month. Depends on how antsy I feel after the 19th.

Actually, one of the things I'm doing while I wait is finding 30.06 and .07 signs on the way home from work (taking a different route each day) and submitting them to texas3006.com
Currently doing the "low hanging fruit"; i.e., the WingStop, HEB, Cinemark, etc. locations in my metro area that aren't in the database yet. Just this morning I found out one of my favorite taco places was posted 30.07 (I've never gone IN before, I always used the drive-thru).

WEBSITE CHANGE TODAY! :anamatedbanana

Identogo actually transmitted prints on the 19th, so from all submissions receive to website change was 49 days (exactly 7 weeks).

Guess I should start checking my P.O. Box......

Checked my PO Box on Sunday (Feb. 7) and nothing.
Checked again today (Tuesday, Feb. 9) and found a plain white envelope from Texas Dept. of Public Safety, Regulatory Services Division.

Plastic in hand, ELVIS HAS LEFT THE BUILDING! :thewave
