GlassG19 wrote:JD9mm, yours & my timeline are almost identical. My last item sent was 12-17, I spoke to them this morning & they did receive all supporting doc's that (12-17) week. If I see or hear anything I will post & if you would as well that would be great.

We're here in the waiting room for awhile, because I have a previous arrest record in 1993, mine should be delayed. Probably Feb for me. That's ok though, it will come.
That stinks abiut the record. I hope it doesn't cause too much of a delay for you.

I am hoping I get passed through pretty quickly. The state has fingerprinted and background checked my so many times that the Identigo lady called me by name when I walked in.

I have been background checked for my teaching certificate, insurance licenses, investment licences, foster parent license, and a few others. At this point I think that Texas would have a rubber stamp just for me!

Yes, I'm sure you will get yours sooner than me but I shouldn't be held up very long, non disqualifying misdemeanor.

Received Email stating all paperwork has been received on 11/18

Called DPS on 12/30, lady said still going through background check.

01/09 still haven't received license or paperwork asking for anything.

Is it 60 days or 60 working days that must tell you anything?
I have nothing to keep me from having LTC.

I for sure wouldn't know since I have not gotten mine yet either, but looking back on here at many other posts it appears to be just 60 days, not "working days". You're almost there though, hang in there cause it will come soon.

I tried to call today and the automated system told me that call volumes were so high that they could not take my call. I've heard or ridiculous wait times, but I've never heard of there being so much call volume that you can't even be put in a queue.

Just got off the phone with DPS (on hold for 30min). Anyways, she said it was issued today 1/11. But I suppose that it won't be in my hands for some time. It feels good knowing after the money spent and wait time that will have it in the next couple weeks.
