Hello! Very wonderful site you guys have here, gained a lot of information. I have applied for my CHL, I was a young and dumb teenager back in 1993, and was charged with a class A DWI and class B theft by check under 200.00 both misdemeanors both in 1993. I was a probation success story and have never again broke the Law. My timeline is:
Application submitted online 11/23/2015
Prints completed on 11/29/2015
CHL class taken on 12/5/2015
CHL-100 and final dispositions on both charges submitted electronically 12/7/2015
2hrs after submitting chl-100 and dispositions got email confirming DPS received all supporting documents
Phone call to DPS on 12/4/2015 confirmed they received fingerprints and only needed CHL-100 to process.
The wait begins

Re: The wait begins
good luck, with an arrest, you will more likely have a 2 month wait. I have a dismissed case already past the one month mar. In one week I will reach the two month mark.
Re: The wait begins
Yeah, I have all ready accepted that the wait will most likely be the 60 days. I hope submitting the dispositions along with the CHL-100 will prevent my application from rolling over to 180 days, that is my hope anyway...
Re: The wait begins
No arrests here and mine took almost 50 so don't sweat it
Re: The wait begins
At the 30 day mark so I called to make sure they did receive all of my paper work. The lady was very nice and had sense of humor to boot, she tells me we recieved your SHENANIGAN paper work (referring to my disposition paper work, made me laugh) but have not yet recieved my CHL-100. I told her I got the confirmation email in the 7th, she put me on hold for a few minutes and comes back and tells me, yes it was recieved so they do in fact have everything they need. She said unfortunately they work on them as they come in and they are still working on novembers to just give them some time. I feel a lot better knowing for sure they recieved everything.
