Forgot to update last week. Got my plastic in! Took about 33 days (counting Thanksgiving) from the moment I submitted everything online to when I received it in the mail. Overall, not bad for government work. :txflag:

I am on the exact same timeline as you, I am very hopeful I will get it soon. Glad you finally got yours.

I'm sure it will come soon, but if you have any concerns, I recommend calling DPS to check status. I called them Monday morning before USPS delivered, and they confirmed my application was already approved and just waiting on mail delivery. It was good to know, and then later that day it arrived.

I think Thanksgiving might have delayed things about a week, but I don't really know. I do remember seeing a lot of people with 30 day turn around before Thanksgiving, and now it seems to be closer to 40.

This is my first time to post. Been lurking a while and figured I'd share my timeline:
Application: November 29
Class/fingerprints: December 12
Electronically submitted chl100: December 20

Online Application Submitted: 11/20/15
Class Completed: 11/22/15
CHL 100, Fingerprints, DD214: 11/24
Confirmation Email from DPS: 11/24

Looks like the absolute earliest I can expect the plastic is the end of December or early January. The CHL instructor said that some folks were getting the license in 7 working days or so, which got my hopes up. But I haven't seen anyone with that quick of a turnaround on this site.
Update (12/23/2015): I called today and was told that they haven't started reviewing my app yet. My uploaded documents - DD-214 and CHL 100 - have not been entered into the system yet but they do possess them. Sounds like I could be in for another 30 days.

Hey all! :tiphat: Here's my timeline:

CHL Class - 11/21
Finger Prints - 11/30
Application/CHL 100 Submitted - 11/22
Email Notification Received - 11/23

Called 12/22/15 and.....no joy. Told the "up to 30 days" thing.

Called today, 12/23/15 and.....YAHTZEE!....Approved! Now in the printing phase! Hopefully the plastic will be here before New Years!

BTW, status still has not changed on website.

I don't understand your status, the OP (edukador) was about the same as your timeline. Bummer!
Maybe you call back Monday & they'll say the same thing to you,, APPROVED! Hope so.

We will get there :cup:

I have noticed some upgrades to their (DPS) call-in procedures... if you call now the system will ask if you want to hold or leave a call-back number. that's nice. now if they could just get the website to offer a more detailed update it would alleviate some app anxiety.
