Hello all my Fellow Proud Texans!

I started searching how long it will take to get my CHL in the mail and it lead me to this forum. Took a look around and decided to join, so here I am!

I had a couple of questions, hope you guys can help:

1. How do I check my Status online and over the phone?
2. What's a Wally Walk?
3. Best ways to stay concealed? I have a Glock 19 w/ TR1 Light using a Bravo Concealment OWB Holster(may switch to IWB)

CHL Timeline:
Completed online application: 10/9/15
CHL class: 10/17/15
Emailed Cert.: 10/19/15
Cert received at DPS: 10/19/15
Finger Prints Done: 11/6/15 (MorphoTrust)

Thanks! As soon as I get my plastic, the Wally Walk will follow. Wife probably won't join me.... he hates that place and in the 5 years we've married, don't think I've ever seen her step near one lol

After submitting my application and chl-100 online last weekend I had my prints done this past Tuesday,so I am only a few days up on you! We may see them by Thanksgiving.

I received a letter in the mail today stating they haven't received by fingerprints. The letter is dated November 9, I got my finger prints done on the 7th. What do I need to do?

I would call them in Austin and ask ASAP! And maybe while you are on the phone they will do some research and possibly find them. I am still playing the waiting game,have not called them yet,probably will wait until the 30 days is up before I do.

Just talked to them, they said it was a mix up, they have everything,and everything is good! She finished with YOUR LICENSE IS ON THE WAY!!!!! She even told me congratulations! lol I love Texas! lol

Call them and check your status. I had a reason to, but I pretty sure most people don't follow the instructions of waiting thirty days.
