STUPID QUESTION
This may be a really stupid question. If you have an approved CHL can you carry before you get your plastic? It is on record and you could just tell the LEO and he can check it. Like I said probable a stupid question and the answer is no.
Re: STUPID QUESTION
Nope! Gotta have the plastic in hand.
I am not and have never been a LEO. My avatar is in honor of my friend, Dallas Police Sargent Michael Smith, who was murdered along with four other officers in Dallas on 7.7.2016.

I'd be willing to bet a large portion of the members here had the same question once they realized the plastic was on the way. I know I did...

Re: STUPID QUESTION
When I was in the Air Force, that's what I used to tell the young folks that worked for me. Unfortunately, some of them worked way too hard to put the lie to my words.txglock21 wrote:A teacher once told me, "the only stupid question is the one not asked."
That lead me to come up with another truism... "The fact that you asked a question does not mean you're entitled to an answer."
Facts are stubborn things; and whatever may be our wishes, our inclinations, or the dictates of our passions, they cannot alter the state of facts and evidence. - John Adams
