News reports indicating that the shooter shot himself, still alive. In critical condition.

Shooters GoPro video shows he shot the woman reporter first, per radio newscasts. She then ran away.

Sorry for posting the LiveLeak video.

For those that haven't seen it, here it is... May not be suitable for all...

This maniac also filmed his crime, and you can also see it on that website as well... Not gonna post that here.

Employee of the news station told the shooter where they would be.

If you watch the first person video ( so tragic ) you will see he waves his gun around 30 seconds prior to the shooting but they are so fixated on their job they don't see him. We talk a lot about situational awareness on this forum. I suspect a lot of news crews will add armed security after this.

So shocking! Gun or no gun how can you respond to this attack? My deepest sympathy to the families affected by this horrible act. So where's the outrage and riots. How about all lives matter!

This is tragic. The shooter claimed to have killed his cats in the forest over his anger. This is more then anger, yet another case of mental illness.

I wish there would have been a good guy with a gun there to stop this.

The Gov. of Va said this was a response to gun control efforts??? No. It was a response to a mentally ill person lashing out at his former employer who rightfully terminated his employment.

By any means I am not trying to down-play the tragedy that happened today. I'm just curious if anyone has seen any of the conspiracy theory posts on other places across the web. Some people say this was a "false flag" incident...idk what that even means. But people watching the video say there was no muzzle flash, no casings ejected, hard to tell if the slide even moved back, the list goes on. I don't doubt this was a real, senseless act. People lost their lives today. Some of the things I've read have made me wonder what the government is capable of and what their agenda truly is. Thoughts?

In the news video I saw a little smoke & in the BG video I saw the muzzle flash. It appeared in the bg video that his first shot may have hit the gal in the abdomen.

That's actually a really appropriate quote. I'm going to borrow that one.

The only mental disorder that this Obama supporter had was full blown, unicorn chasing, looney tunes liberalism. To them, the end always justifies any means.

You beat me to it. You can bet his liberalism and support for Obama will be missing from MSM reports. Another liberal anti-gun anti-selfdefense nut who gets a gun and murders innocent people while complaining about gun violence.

The murderer had in his possession 2 Glocks. At least one of them was a Glock 19.
He had purchased the most recent one about June 2015, and had passed the background check.

So, even though he was a problem child to his former employer (the TV station), apparently
nothing in his behavior had ever triggered a mental health report that would have deemed
him an "ineligible person". Sad.
