Vice President Joe Biden “guaranteed” Mayor Thomas M. Menino — a leading national gun control advocate — that President Obama will pass sweeping firearms reforms by the end of the month, the mayor said today.

Does Congress still not do the legislation thingy?

Oh, I get it now. If the bills, whatever they may be, are not passed, it will be somebody else's fault...as usual.

Executive order will more than likely come into play somehow or another.

Oh well, after the music stops and the smoke clears from all of his celebrity filled coronation festivities, we'll see what kinds of evil that rascal wants to throw down on the law abiding gun owners of this land. In so doing, we'll also see who is with us and who is agin' us in the not so hallowed halls of government.

Lord be with us, if you please.

I've been saying that from day 1 of this madness, now they are officially saying it. I will be curious to the back ordered weapons people have. Will they get them or not? I think not, but hope I am wrong.

If the Dems couldn't get enough support to even discuss a gun ban bill in ILL, how do they expect to get something through the house?
The country will laugh at an unconstitutional executive order. An injunction would come almost immediately.

Nobama will do just that, sign another executive order. He is good at it. He will probably will be body surfing in Hawaii when he does and use that remote signature device.

Like I said, there will be an injunction nullifying the order before the "ink" is dry.

Fortunately there are still some honest judges who believe in the letter of the law. There is a process for what the left is wanting to do. An executive order doesn't even come close to being in the same legal ballpark.

Executive Order? Reminds me of the 80's when I was living in a Latin American country, and under a dictatorship...

No wonder Obama and Hugo Chavez are so like-minded........ they both do business the same way, and constitutional republic be hanged.

No law that would restrict guns whatsoever would pass. Mark my words.
Prez Order is not permissible when law is needed. Otherwise, bypassing the congress and the constitution is a just abuse of Executive Power.
If Republicans ever consent to a new ban-law, it would be the end of the Republican Party and the birth of new Party. Coming 2014 election the 2-party system is over. Welcome to the new USA!
