Notice how they try to include everybody in their platform and never take a strong stance against something. Their always willing to talk about it! All I got from that is we want your vote no matter what you believe!

That seemed to be working pretty well for all the sheeple at Obama's retirement party, er, convention.

In other words....America, turn them all in.

Anyone who wants to "open a conversation" about how best to violate my individual rights will never get my vote.

The anti-gunners/democrats are always talking about "compromise", finding "middle ground".

Well, they took half with the 1934 National Firearms Act. Then another half with the 1938 Federal Firearms Act. Then another half with the 1968 Gun Control Act. Then the various 1986 Acts had a lot of little poison pills including the Hughes Amendment another half, another half to The Crime Control Act of 1990, another half for The 1994 Brady Act and one for the 1994 AWB.

Add up the 40,000 or so gun laws, and I am down to about 1/10th of 1% left.

So my "compromise" -- let's meet in the middle -- starts with why don't those anti dim wits repeal half the laws. Then we can "compromise" some more after that.

'Cause I'm done with any "compromise" that is just double-speak for taking away more of my rights. The answer is NO.

Also, for the first time ever, The Democratic platform does not have the word "God" anywhere in the platform. They removed all references to God.

It is easy enough to open the linked document above, Ctrl+F to search, and quickly find "God" does not exist in the Democratic Party.

Although somewahat shocked, I am not totally surprised. I mean look at all of the other things that have been done by th current POTUS to denounce God.
That is what is wrong with our country now. God has been removed from our schools and our government. He is the basis for which our country was founded and a handful of anti-christs think they are better that God, much less everyone else.

Students and government officials are all allowed to pray privately to whomever they wish.

That is not the point and your comment is also a statement of the obvious.

The removal of God, specifically with reference to God as we Christians believe, is counter to what this country was founded on.

In place of God, pretty much any other religion or pseudo-religious belief including but not limited to wicca, materialism, new age, satan worship (which is redundant here) is allowed and encouraged.

In some areas of the country sharia law is taking the place of the democratic (not to be confused with the democrat party) form of government.

Since the DNC platform does not mention God and worships abortion among other things, we can conclude that prayer is something that the DNC leadership and much of the professed kool aid drinkers falling in lock step with their platform could care less about.

As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.

I watched the DNC last night and listened to the mayor af San Antonio and Mrs Obama. I find it hard to believe that even a fellow democrat would buy off on the dribble that ran from their mouths. It was an obvious ploy to try and sway Hispanic and female votes. What was worse is the way the media is sooooooooooo openly biased and pro Obama. It was the media that won it for Obama in '08, and they are playing that card again. Yes, it was NBC, why would I expect them to be neutral?

Tell that to anybody who has had to face a school administration/school board hostile to like-minded believing students wanting to gather at the flag-pole to pray.

Atheists are very comfortable with the Establishment Clause, but they conveniently leave out the Free Exercise Clause. For me as a Christian, I think it is sad if someone does not believe the same thing, but I am certainly not trying to ram my faith down anyone else's throat. However it goes beyond the pale when an atheist claims that my free exercise of my religion is the same thing as the state establishment of religion, particularly when I am willing to die for that atheist's right to the free exercise of his religion.
