President Obama: This is my last election. After my election I have more flexibility
http://abcnews.go.com/blogs/politics/20 ... exibility/
We can be sure he intends to apply that flexibility to matters beyond negotiations with the Russians.

I saw this too and was thinking the same exact thing.

I don't believe even Obama is arrogant enough to try and do anything silly like declare martial law or suspend elections...
But the likelihood of the Isrealis feeling backed into a corner and acting unilaterally regarding Iran, Russians exerting more control over eastern europe, and 4 more years of him passing executive orders, appointing leftist justices and doing anything he can to further his dreams for a socialist utopia is a pretty darn scary thought!

The question in the back of my mind is "What do we do if he does get re-elected?".
I mean, if that were to happen, this country would be forever ruined, perhaps beyond repair.

Heck, even if a Republican gets in, if we don't repeal the massive govt overreach that is Obamacare and start cutting back on the domestic spying programs and other civil liberty encroachments, we may be done for anyway.

If "entitlements" and other transfer payments aren't reduced, if government spending doesn't get under control almost immediately (which seems likely), and debt continues to increase at the current rate, economic collapse is inevitable, no matter what else happens.

With Kagan refusing to recuse herself, it's a loaded deck.

...I think that's the trigger...when the economy won't support the entitlements, and they begin to be removed or reduced, we have a good idea what will happen...

When one of the crop of Republican candidates makes a gaffe that is way less inflammatory, it is trumpeted far and wide by our media and mobs in the street howl for retribution. I would like to know where the reaction to this is.

Economic collaspe, military collaspe, healthcare collaspe the American way of life collaspe. Him, bill and bernadine will have a big cuban cigar watching it all. burn.

Let us all hope and pray that our congress actually acts like a real congress, should he win re-election.
Then again, if the GOP can't win reelection in this election year, I'd say it's high time to declare the GOP completely irrelevant. Seriously. Massive unemployment, massive debt, massive scandals, and one of the most arrogant (and inept) president in history. If this can't be won, then the system is rigged to never let the GOP win the presidency again.
