Remember the Alamo.

#1

Post by bayouhazard »

In this election year, remember the Alamo. Remember how those brave men and their fellows responded to a President who broke his promises and violated the constitution. In that case it was the Mexican constitution but the lesson rings true for every constitution that limits government power and guarantees rights to the people.

Remember the Alamo!

I remember the Alamo everyday. That is why I will be supporting anyone but Santorum, Romney, or Gingrich. But I don't plan on voting for Obama either.

So you are going to vote for someone who has no possible chance of being elected? You're Obama's second most favorite person.

I am voting for the party an candidate I believe in. Why should I compromise? Only a coward wouldn't vote their heart.

...you have the right to waste your vote on someone who doesn't stand a reasonable chance of being elected, thereby insuring obama's victory...

...you do not have the right to call those of us who realize we must accomplish replacing obama with ANYONE if we are to have a country left to improve cowards...and you owe us all an apology...

If you surrender your vote just to "win" it sounds like you already forgot the Alamo.

Just sayin'

...it's not surrendering...it's making your shot(vote) do SOME good...even though you can't win the war in this battle...not like shooting into the air for a protest...

You could write in the "Oldgringo" for POTUS. Both he and the incumbent POTUS would appreciate it and you could feel good about your feeble protest vote.

...comfort isn't the goal...the goal is getting the incumbent and his henchmen out of office...I'd vote for Donald Duck to accomplish that...the greatest "principle" or "conscience" issue is stopping the evil...so that we get future elections...I don't think a lot of folks realize how much jeopardy our nation's in...
