While a Texas CHL license holder is permitted to carry in IA under existing reciprocity law, all licensed, honest citizens attending this fair are, unfortunately, prohibited from carrying at this event. The citizens attending the State Fair in Wisconsin a few days ago might tell you such a prohibition is unwise. The Texas State Fair, with my support, allows licensed citizens to carry concealed, including citizens carrying under reciprocal licenses."
