I look forward to bringing this back up when we get Campus carry and Parking Lot bills passed and Gov PERRY signs them, thanks to the work of the NRA and TSRA. :txflag:

The wife and I both voted early and punched the straight Republican ticket. The employer parking lot issue is one I'm eager to see taken care of. The closet public parking lot to my work place is about 1/2 half a mile away. Its a shame my employer puts me at risk at everday by expecting me to leave my weapon at home.

I'm one of those that really dislikes straight ticket voting, because in my hometown I guy ran for an office that wasn't even used (I believe constable) on the promise of not collecting his salary and doing exactly nothing.

Once he was elected, he started happily picking up his tax payer provided check. And because he had an R by his name, straight ticket voters rewarded him with another term to steal more money for doing nothing.

I researched who was running as best I could so I wouldn't be rewarding that type of behavior, and if it was between a D and an R, went R. If it was between a republican and libertarian only, I went libertarian.

Always default to freedom. :txflag:

TheDailyTexan at UT is pushing hard for White, and getting shot down in comments each time about their shoddy "research" and mis-information.

100% articles editorials are pro-white
99% comments are pro-Perry

I'm just posting this because I an laughing so hard at one comment ostensibly for Bill White.

I'm gonna vote for Bill White because when he talks, it makes me feel good inside.
I like how he really wants to build the government up and help people.
It makes me feel really good knowing he is looking out for the little man/woman.
Plus, he is against gun on campus and I don't want guns on campus because guns are scary and bad.
I would sit in class wondering who was carrying a gun and who wasn't instead of paying attention.
Hopefully, Bill White wins, and we as students can all be friends and feel safe together as one big family.

No, I didn't post that there, but it is hilarious

Hmm, I agree with her. I don't think grade-school students should be carrying guns, either! "rlol"

Perry or White?.....aren't they the same man? Owner and Editor of the Metropolis Daily Planet :smilelol5:

Tweedle Dum or Tweedle Dee. Not a dimes worth of difference between them. Perry's talking a big game about he border, states rights, secession concepts, anti-obamacare etc. now because he needs to get reelected....but once he's back in...it will be business as usual (Amnesty, Bilingual ed., more interstate hwys, NAFTA Super Highway, etc. etc. etc.) Tax and Spend just like White
