No, but they wouldn't be able to wear them while working as security, if SB1324 passes.Texassmitty wrote:Firefighters wear badges and they are not LEO's. Does this mean they have to give them up?

Sounds like this bill would force Dog the Bounty Hunter to change his look.

Only if he's in TX, though. Wait, this is a state bill, right?Rrash wrote:Sounds like this bill would force Dog the Bounty Hunter to change his look.

There was a bill to require wearing a lapel pin while carrying a few sessions back. The bill never made it out of a committe
Maybe a CHL Badge should be required for open carry so it won't freak people out

I did not even receive my 2 foot by three foot "CHL Holder Aboard" car door emblem. Darn, with all the other stuff that you guys got I am feeling really left out here. I guess that I will just have to wear my t-shirt with the jumbo Sharpie sketched sort-of-badge-thingy and the words "Semi-quasi-sort-of-official looking badge thingy!" written prominently on it. I can only hope that it will be sufficient to get me into the next meeting of the secret-handshake-wink-ring-sash-badge CHL meeting . . .
