Put Guns in the Schools

Post by Kythas »

What a great blog post about a school shooting most of us have probably never heard of.

Why haven't we heard of it? Because a good guy with a gun was there to counter the bad guy with a gun, and the bad guy ended up only murdering himself.

Since this doesn't fit the media narrative, it was hardly reported.

Good article. We have officers at all of our campuses. Can't hurt, that's for sure.

An addendum to his essay, though.

1.Claire Davis, the 17-year old senior who was critically injured by the shooter died eight days later.

2. The incident, from active start to last shot fired, lasted 80 seconds.

Important measurement there; as we ALL know, when SECONDS count, the police are only MINUTES away..... 'Nuff said. EVERY school needs competent folks with GUNS guarding our children!
