Lot of things he could do:
- New demand letter to all FFLs to follow some new 'process' that makes things more complex/difficult
- Having the NICS start to shut down (due to sequestration, naturally) at critical/high demand times
- Targeted IRS audits of gun stores, gun show promoters, anyone who opposed the latest gun grab
I'm sure they're cooking up a plan.

I usually experience some gastrointestinal discomfort when BHO speaks, but his use of the Newtown "props" and his shame, shame on Congress was truly sickening.
The peons retained a right that is central to our liberty and the imperial president is angry. At least he is showing his true colors, unfortunately his mesmerized followers will not recognize this for what it is.

I'm also getting kind of tired of the newton families being used as props. They can deny it all they want to but that's what they are being used for. How come I haven't read much about the case against the individual who ACTUALLY DID THE CRIME!?
Cause he is dead?
The only time the Dems won't use kids as a prop is when they favor abortion!
I'm not sure why all the hub-bub...none of that would have passed the House even if it does pass in the Senate.
Cant wait to watch Morning Joe on MSNBS to see them cry all over themselves
Or Piers Morgan tonight. Ha!
Piers Morgan, bless his shriveled little black heart, actually spent time on his later hour (usually just a repeat) discussing the West, TX disaster (didn't see his first hour).
Morning Joe is amazing this morning. Not sure if the HVAC is broken in studio, but they are very visibly sweating and the anger is palpable. Their blabbering on like inconsolable toddlers screaming "it's not fair!"

Wish I could see it that way. A good day for freedom already passed in my opinion....that would be the day this unconstitutional garbage didn't get introduced in the first place because we had a Congress that respects the Constitution. The next good freedom day would be the Bill dying in committee; and the next decent freedom day would be a Senate vote of 90-10, or thereabouts, against (I don't expect perfection). As it is, a majority voted for this garbage, just not a big enough majority. We also had 46 Senators vote to subordinate the US Constitution to a foreign power --an act of open Treason. Then we had a petulant president stand up before the country and lie about what happened. These acts taken together suggest freedom is in critical condition and we need armed guards around the hospital room to prevent the collectivists from administering the coup de grace.

The word liberal and friend do not go together.
Why would someone who wants to take away my freedom be a friend?

I prefer to have a varied spectrum of friends. I really enjoy good-natured, educated and informed discourse. Sometimes I hurt in my heart to hear a friend tell me something that I know to be 'wrong', while recognizing that they feel exactly the same. But life goes on and we learn not to war with each other.

I understand. I guess I have a different definition of what friend means.

I understand, but I will take what I can get. At least we stopped the assassins before hey could deliver that lethal blow. We live to fight another day.

I understand. A wonderful freedom day will be when those 46 Senators who committed Treason are arrested and stand trial.

He's just waiting for the next nutjob to enter a defense-free zone and work their evil, because he knows that as long as he does nothing to protect schools, it leaves it open for another tragedy. And yes, I do believe that some of those Democrat Socialist Party leaders are that callous. They care about power, nothing else.
