Bill would ban lead ammunition in California

SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) — Environmentalists are pushing legislation to ban lead ammunition in California to prevent toxins from poisoning scavengers that eat animal remains left by hunters.
We can all have a warm fuzzy now.

Gimme a few Blue Moons and a Red Bull 'n I'll drive ;)

Seriously though, I was hoping those earthquakes (and the bigger one that's supposedly coming) would kind of split off that little chunk of Heaven into the ocean. Just another place I'll never spend a minute or a dime.

Why would you want to do that? The survivors would just move East.
I suppose since many of the hard core leftists are on the coast, maybe the survivors would all be Republicans (and illegal farm workers).

Probably should ban depleted uranium at the same time. If you can't shoot lead what are you going to do. Wait guns are still allowed in CA?

Do they still have those fruit checks as you enter the state?

I was going to type something of some sort of substance here...then I realized that California is indeed a lost cause, and what difference would it make, anyway? I mean, they did elect Jerry Brown as their governor... :banghead:

And in true gov worker ethics, she did not actually ask if we had anything, just looked at us bored as we drove up and gave us a flip of the hand to continue.

Darn glade they did not ask about weapons in the car....... :biggrinjester:

CA gun laws went down hill in the 90's, with senate bill 23. Nobody cared. Now that states are falling one by one and looming federal gun bans, people should have cared. They (NRA, ect) should have challenged those laws instead of sitting back saying that's CA. CA has many conservatives. Heck the county I lived in was conservative and I moved to liberal Austin.

It has reached the point that whenever I hear something about Kalifornia and firearms I just ignore it. No sense wasting any brain cells on them, all I can hope for is that they will not come east and change our political climate....
