Cheaper Than Dirt! will Resume Online Firearm Sales Pending Policy Changes
Cheaper Than Dirt! recently announced that it was temporarily suspending online sales of firearms pending a review of its order processing and procedures. Well-known for its ability to process and ship orders within 24 hours, online sales have skyrocketed to a point where it may take up to 72 hours for firearms and other items to ship.
"In light of recent events, we believe it is prudent to review our policies and procedures to ensure we can continue to provide the products and firearms our customers demand," said Chief Operations Officer Roberta Wilson. "We will resume online sales once we update our process and continue as we have always done by shipping firearms only to FFL dealers."
Ms. Wilson closed with, "As a long-time supporter of the Second Amendment, we will continue to serve the needs of the firearms community while ensuring our unsurpassed level of quality and customer service."

Sorry, but they burned that bridge. Especially when the jacked the price of PMags to $60. I'm done with them for good now.

I never bought from them firearms, only accessories and ammo. I only fondle their demo firearms before placing an-online order.

What are the best alternate places IN TEXAS to do business with instead?

At first I cut them a little slack. I assumed their reason to suspend firearm sales was that they caved to the pressure but the fact they used the word "temporarily" I chose to believe there was additional circumstances that I wasn't privy to which played a role in their decision. My position changed immediately following the intentional price gouging. I won't due business with them again either.

Another +1. The cowards.
There is an excellent gun store and bulk ammo seller in Brenham....can't remember the name at the moment.

Re: Cheaper than dirt backtrack and re-start selling on-line
I wasn't going to do it but I caved and got a membership to sportsmansguide.com. On my first purchase the amount I paid for the ammo, membership fee and shipping was still cheaper than any site I went to. So if its still cheaper through the membership term than anywhere else then I'll be very happy.
