Staged crisis leading to suspended elections?

Staged crisis leading to suspended elections could happen on our watch

http://www.canadafreepress.com/index.php/article/49082
The closer America gets to Election Day, the more some worry about the possibility of there not being one.

Obama is smiling all the way through the polls, and it may not merely be whistling past the cemetery this time.

The fear of Obama suspending elections came long before the presidential election campaign officially began. It was almost one year ago when North Carolina Governor Bev Perdue made suspended elections an idea whose time has come.

“I think we ought to suspend, perhaps, elections for Congress for two years and just tell them we won’t hold it against them, whatever decisions they make, to just let them help this country recover,” Gov. Perdue, a Democrat said, according to a report by the Raleigh News & Observer. “You want people who don’t worry about the next election.” (Fox News, Sept. 27, 2011).
Probably nothing.
But...

It is something to be concerned about. The signs are here. If he thinks he might not be reelected, watch out.

In fuller context, Perdue did not want the congressman to cast their votes and then have that vote affect their chances of being re-elected...
I think this makes more sense when you sit on the left side of the isle...

Only because I love a good conspiracy...............

I do not see suspended elections the way to go. Because an election has a possibility of turning out in your favor why miss the opportunity. Instead, after a loss you can always invalidate elections in conservative leaning states that have voting laws that the DOJ feels disenfranchise voters. Then claim victory because you have the majority of the remaining Electors of the Electoral College. This will cause unrest in the inner-cities allowing Martial Law and the suspension of Constitution. (Not that the Constitution means anything to the current administration.)

Okay, gotta run and put on a new tin-foil hat..... :reddevil :reddevil

If the State converts a right into a privilege, the citizen can ignore the license and fee and engage in the right with impunity. -- Shuttleworth v. City of Birmingham

Well yeah. Don't you know that he used bush's commandeered hurricano machine to send Isaac to New Orleans so he could declare a nationwide state of emergency and call the UN to run the country for us?

Same thing was said in '96, '00, '04, '08.......just by different folks depending on which party held the White House.

I'm more concerned by an invasion of Klingon speaking Dinosaurs riding meteors in from space then I am about a POTUS from either party attempting to seize power.

And that's exactly why all CHL's must have a CCW in a caliber that starts with at least a 4, a BUG, a knife, a BUK (back-up knife), at least 4 EBRs with tactical sights and backup sights, an HD shotgun or 3, a BOB (bug out bag), a TEOTWAWKI plan, and vast supplies of food, water, and medical gear, tactical pants, shirts, and underwear too. Oh, and a P38. I learned that here :biggrinjester:

Now quit being silly, the world knows there are no such things as Klingon speaking Dinosaurs. It would only be logical that they would speak Vulcan. Please. :totap:

I think being able to provide for and protect yourself and your family in a variety of circumstances is a worthwhile and intelligent goal.

But if I were to rank things to worry about on a priority list, the President seizing power would be right after Klingon speaking dinosaurs on said list. :biggrinjester:
