Re: Mitt Romney and Firearms
Please, please...do NOT go giving Obama ANY credit for being pro-2A or pro-firearms in any way, shape, or form. He would dearly LOVE to institute some SERIOUS new gun control scheme IF he thought he could get away with it...but I'm sure his team told him that it was a live wire issue and if he touched it, he would get burned. His administration, it seems, has tried their darnedest to make firearms owners look bad and set the stage for new gun control laws by pushing those "assault weapons" down to the cartels in the failed Fast and Furious operation. Do you not remember him letting the President of Mexico come up here and talk about how it was American guns that allow the cartels to operate? When its that blatantly obvious, one does NOT have to have a paranoid streak to see it. C'mon there is NO WAY the cartel got large batches of FULL AUTO rifles, live grenades, mortars and other heavy weaponry from ANY American firearms store. Certainly not even worth trying to do when they can get them shipped in to the Mexican coast somewhere or brought in through the SOUTHERN BORDER of Mexico. Once again, I WILL pull the lever for whichever candidate has the R behind their name and hope for a larger conservative margin in the House and a Republican Senate to keep that person in line...

One wonders if he holds consistent views about other constitutional amendments, such as the First, Fifth, and Thirteenth.
