Representative Contact Information

Post by Excaliber »

Texas maintains a handy web site for easily finding out who represents you at the state and federal level (and even on the state's Board of Education) as well as how to contact these folks. Check it out here.

Now you've got what you need to let these folks know what you think whenever you have something to say - which should be often these days.

There is also a useful app which just happens to be free...

*** 2010 MID-TERM ELECTION NOTE *** Official results of the 2010 Congressional Elections will be reflected in MyCongress data in early January 2011, starting with the first session of the 112th United States Congress. In the interim, statistics should be updated by the Office of the Clerk of the U.S. House of Representatives: http://clerk.house.gov/member_info/elec ... index.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

MyCongress is a portal to detailed information about your elected U.S. Congressional officials. Track their news, video and Twitter feeds. Look up their official Open Congress profile or contact them directly. MyCongress helps you get in touch with your government.

Several states turned over from democratic legislatures to republican. Does anyone have a link to the Texas turnover of one party to the other? I mean as for what state rep or senate seats turned over.

What I have found so far from SOS website. Several non incumbent districts and not counting those this is a gain of 20 seats in the house and no rep seats moving to the dems.

My district (barely) flipped from Democrat to Republican - Sarah Davis is in, Ellen Cohen is out. Unfortunately, the Tx gov website hasn't yet been updated with the newly elected representatives yet.

I'm a little reluctant to email District 134's rep, hoping that it'll make it to Sarah Davis' staff, and not Ellen's people who are packing up to leave :???:
