For anyone that might be interested: Texas ok's Gadsden flag and Gonzales (come and take it) license plates for delivery sometime after the first of the year.

Interesting… but PH plates are $3.00 per year if anyone does not know. Just sayin’.

I'm not paying extra for vanity plates until they allow cars to display a single license plate. That's already the law for motorcycles.

I definitely like the Come and Take It plates, and agree that it is too bad we need two of them. I've never cared for vanity plates, but those are pretty nice and the new TX plates are terrible.

Isn't it a little ironic that it's released along with the Kilgore College plate? I mean, given the KC president's rant about college carry.

Given the GIANT shortfall in the Texas budget, how much does a front license plate cost to manufacture? Why do we need 'em?

PS:
Anybody here old enough to remember "GIANT"?

These plates are now available starting at $55/year, $195/5 years, or $295/10 years, more for customization.

That's a little more than I'm willing to pay. If I get anything, I may get the TSRA plates for $30.

You can get the background and a random number for "less than $30/yr"..
or 2/3 numbers + 3 letters of your choice for "less than $33/yr"..
or a fully custom plate for "less than $60/yr"..

How about these (all are available as of this moment)

for $33/yr...

for $60/yr...

Are you talking about the movie with James Dean?

Yes, who else was in the movie with him and where was the setting? {No fair googling}.

I know the setting is in Texas, but don't remember the details. I'm definitely not old enough to have seen it in the theaters... but I love old movies. I really liked the first 1/2 of the movie when Dean's character was struggling and then made it big.

Honesty has its own rewards. You may now google.

Back on point with apologies to the OP, et al. :tiphat:

Oh, I thought you were talking about the band.
