If we want to talk reality, harsh reality, extreme reality, only the most ignorant and misguided can and will support and endorse Caucasian non-Hispanic Robert O'Rourke.
There were some block walkers up in Collin County a few weeks ago. Some spoke with people who had Beto signs in their yard. Some of the people with these signs had no idea that Beto was running as a democrat. That just baffles me. How can someone put a campaign sign in their yard, without knowing at MINIMUM the party affiliation of that candidate? The level of ignorance is truly staggering.
Robbie is running on his celebrity status, by saying little or nothing of substance, and pretending to be Latino.
He's a perfect fit for democrats and the uninformed masses who's lives are dictated by social media.

He's still the long shot but Trump was the long shot a month and a half before the 2016 election.
Nationally yes but not in Texas. I don't think there was ever a question as to whether or not Trump could carry the state once he'd sewn up the nomination.

Talking to a coworker last night, he thought that O"Rourke was running against Cruz in the Republican primary. He didn't realize that boat sailed months ago. Seems like a lot of folks must not be paying attention.
The sad thing is that these people vote.

So besides a phone call last night on my cell phone. This morning a young 28 ish couple with their 18 month old baby, knocked on the door and asked if I would be voting for Beto.
They took note on a clip board. They were going to every house.

Let’s talk reality for a moment. Reality is that no one will end License to Carry in Texas. Everyone thought Obama being elected would end “CHL”- WRONG. If Beto wins election (prob won’t anyway), will Texas do Away with “LTC”? Answer: No. Regardless if Texas has a Democrat or Republican, & regardless if the USA has a Dem or Rep President- Texas will still have LTC. Texas has had legal carrying in public since 1995. That’s 23 years according to my math. (We’ve had Dem’s & Rep’s in all levels of Government during that time)
If Beto is elected it will say a lot about where Texas is going.
When Obama was president ammunition prices and availability went through the roof. I stopped shooting because I couldn’t replace what I shot.
Until the Republicans took the legislature anything could have happened. They didn’t feel threatened so they just got Obamacare, imagine what they would have done in the next two years. Especially after Sandy Hook.

I think Cruz will win but it's not a sure thing. It will come down to voter turn out.
Beto will win if the Democrats turn out the vote in large numbers. They're working hard to energize their base. Look at the Beto yard signs. Look at the door to door campaigners. On election day, I'm sure they will give free rides to polling places to people who want Medicaid for all and other socialist stuff.
Meanwhile the Republicans aren't doing much to energize their base. They still haven't repealed Obamacare. They haven't passed national reciprocity or hearing protection. They're letting the Democrats delay the Kavanaugh vote. I can't think of anything they accomplished in the past six months to get conservatives fired up to vote.
It's going to come down to voter turn out.

I tell these people that it's non of their business. In the U.S. elections are held by secrete ballot.

I'm voting for Cruz but I'm not sure it really matters in the long run. When the Democrats were in charge, the country was cruising along at 60 mph toward a third world socialist-hole. If Bernie had been elected President, the speed might have increased a little or a lot. When Trump was elected, things slowed down for a bit, but it didn't stop. Now we're back up to 45 mph or so, and Grassley wants to give it gas.

We've got to get enough people in the right places to slow it down before we can begin to reverse course.

When a guy says it's more American to take a knee during the National Anthem or Pledge of Allegiance than stand to honor it and that LEO's are the new Jim Crow element I know who I ain't voting for! I'm still trying to run down the salutatorian in Booker, TX that was deported Patrick Francis mentioned in the debate, but so far no luck. You'd think that would be big news.

I'm hoping that either
- all the people with Beto signs look at all the other Beto signs and figure it's in the bag, and so they stay home on election day
- that 'Beto' continues to exhibit 'hoof in mouth disease' and even democrats start seeing him as a male Ocasio-Cortez
AND
- that EVERY LAST ONE OF US votes!
