TSRA already sends out action alerts by email. The info has pretty much paralleled what Charles is doing here (no surprise, since he and Alice Tripp are both working these issues at the Capitol). Sometimes Charles has more detail, and I usually see his posts before the TSRA email, mostly because I monitor this forum regularly.shawn wrote:
One suggestion for future legislative session... can we set up some sort of email distribution list for these time critical things. I have a lot of sites that are blocked from work, but I want to be able to respond quickly if needed. Maybe something that only Charles can send from so we don't get a lot of spam and chatter.. just the good stuff. Just a suggestion.
I'm going to do exactly that for next session. As ELB said, TSRA already has an email alert system and that's a good one also. I can react a little faster and I can say . . . well I'll leave that alone.shawn wrote:One suggestion for future legislative session... can we set up some sort of email distribution list for these time critical things. I believe you must be referring to Alice Tripp.toddlinder wrote:

Correct, Alice Tripp is the lobbyist for TSRA, but she's not an attorney.ELB wrote:I believe you must be referring to Alice Tripp.toddlinder wrote:

Hopefully Charles will set up a Twitter account. I follow the NRA's "tweets" which keep me updated on national news.shawn wrote:I just saw this. Do I still need to contact my representatives?
