New forum

One of the founders and driving forces behind Students for Concealed Carry on Campus is a new member of TexasCHLforum. He made an excellent suggestion that a specific forum be set up for discussions on concealed carry on college campuses. This issue was the subject of an interim study by the House Law Enforcement Committee and I am certain a bill will be introduced in the 2009 Texas Legislative Session.

This is a very important issue and I agree that it deserves to have its own forum. The campus-carry bill will be covered in my regular Bill Status Report here on TexasCHLforum, as well as on http://www.TexasCHLblog" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; and on http://www.TexasShooting.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;. However, those other sites do not lend themselves to open discussion as well as TexasCHLforum.

I've thought about going back to get some classes just to relieve some boredom. If we get campus carry passed, I may do it just because I can carry.
