Making a trip out to Vegas in a few and then up to Idaho. Anyone know of any weird laws for CHL in those states? I see that Nevada is not allowed so it will have to stay locked up in the safe while there.

You;ll have clear sailing in Idaho. You can carry just about every where with the exception of schools, secured areas of jails, and court houses.

Thanks! I am in Pocatello now and will be around for about a week. What about no-gun "ghostbuster" signs (not that I expect to see many in Idaho)? Is there any type of 30.06 signage?

There is no ghost buster signs or 30.06 type signs. The gas stations here don't even have the unlicensed possesion of firearms sign. You can carry into the bar here too, just as long as you're not drinking. You can even carry at your polling place. The only places you can't carry are the usual federal buildings, schools, secured areas of jails, and courthouses.

You're making me wish I lived there (until winter rolls around!)

The winters aren't too bad. I remember in Nac when it got to 40 or 50 I was putting on a jacket. It felt cold because of the humidity. It's drier up here so when it's 40 or 50 your just putting on a sweatshirt or wool flannel.
