Denver grand ma sues police detective over SWAT raid on her home from warrant issued with the sole evidence being one Apple Find my stuff app ping.
Texas man’s truck was stolen with 6 guns and an old iPhone 11.
iPhone app apparently says not for law enforcement purposes.
Good luck getting police to help get your stuff bank after this.
My apple tags seem to work pretty well.
white truck with a Texas license plate was allegedly stolen from the parking garage of a Denver Hyatt hotel, according to the truck's owner, who was staying at the hotel. The owner told police that the truck contained six firearms — including a tactical military-style rifle — two drones, $4,000 cash and an old iPhone 11.
This sets off some flags in my book. He left $4,000 in cash in his truck??? Really??? That kind of loadout, complete with two drones suggests the truck owner was up to something. Intelligence, organized crime, cartels, or something.
Or just padding the ole insurance claim.
The Apple tags seem to work pretty well for some things and not others. When my phone leaves my car in the parking lot it tells me that or when my phone leaves my briefcase it tells me that. If the dog is in the front yard or the back yard, not so much.

I can think of many legitimate reasons to have $4000 cash on hand.
So can I but I sure don't understand why anyone would leave that kind of cash, that many firearms and two drones in a truck while parked in a hotel parking lot. That is just asking to be ripped off.

If you are on Twitter, Connor Boyack had the video Jaiden's Mom recorded. He is one of the writers of books for Tuttletwins, which Jaiden is a big fan of. I think he broke the story. Thankful she did record what happened! He has a good thread on the aftermath if you go to his Twitter account. But his Twitter link below is where the District backed Jaiden and his Constitutional rights and the historic significance of the Gadsen flag and repudiated the teacher or counselor at the school.
The irregularities were discovered with a number of voter signature discrepancies, and they were all associated with a single address, the clerk’s office said.
The Denver Clerk and Recorder’s office said the probe could extend to other counties in the metro area.

New $150 a year sidewalk fee. For maintenance and repair. No guarantee they will do anything in front of your house. Just calling a tax a fee.
Houston seems to be exploring a garbage collection fee. Eventually everything will be a fee, but the property taxes will just go to pay all the pensions that are underfunded.

I'm surprised Houston doesn't charge for garbage pickup already. My city already charges for residential garbage pickup and has for many, many years.

I don't have to pay a Houston Garbage Collection Bill (yet), but we do get to pay a fee for the two trash receptacles (one regular trash, one recycle stuff) the city gives us to use. Fortunately it is only about $15.00 per year.
