Nevada FINALLY recognizing Texas LTC
I haven't seen anything posted regarding this yet, so here goes.
http://gsd.nv.gov/uploadedFiles/gsdnvgo ... %2016).pdf
Effective 7/1/16 Nevada will recognize Texas LTC along with a few other states. Even though I was covered in NV via non resident AZ permit, this is very nice to see.
In link see portion in red where they state license holder must be 21 or older. Gee, how much more simple could that be. Should have happened years ago. Better late than never.

Re: Nevada FINALLY recognizing Texas LTC
So you're saying my AZ permit is useless now? I didn't even go back to Vegas yet since I've had it.

Thank you for the update. I am waiting for my AZ CCW currently, I guess I will not need it now.

Nevada, from top to bottom and cross ways, is on my 'been there, done that' list; however, I am happy for the rest of y'all.
Re: Nevada FINALLY recognizing Texas LTC
Great news. I had to get a non resident AZ in order to carry in Vegas eariler this year. I was annoyed that they didn't recgonize TX. Oh well, $60 well spent. It would be great if offical agreements coud be made with the indian reservations along all interstates allowing concealed carry.

Very glad to see this. I don't get out to Vegas very much, but the lack of reciprocity has certainly been taking the edge off any urges to book a trip.

AZ is a handy one to have as a backup in case your LTC expires before you renew and it's pretty cheap and easy to renew.GeekwithaGun wrote:Now I have to decide, do i renew my non-res AZ permit or not? used it once in Nevada in past 5 years.

Also good as a backup in case you have to use your pistol and your Texas license gets held as evidence, you can legally carry on another state's license unless you are convicted.

Re: Nevada FINALLY recognizing Texas LTC
LOL I got my AZ permit earlier this year specifically for a trip I'm taking through Nevada next week. Oh well...
Now if Washington would start recognizing LTCs possessed by Texans >=21 years old, I would only need a Texas LTC.

Just saw this. It's not updated on the txdps website yet.
But good to know I can stop dragging my heels on that Vegas trip.

Re: Nevada FINALLY recognizing Texas LTC
Usually Vegas is not reciprocal. Nevada itself is but out of state is not honored in Vegas metro. At least Utah wasn't years back
