Anybody have feed back on the Vortex scopes, specifically the Diamondback 3-9X40 with the V-Plex or Dead Hold BDC reticle.
I was all set to get the Redfield Revolution 3-9X40 but have read some good things about the Vortex lately although I am not personally familiar with them. The Vortex is a few more bucks but still just in the $200 class.
Its to go on a Weatherby Vanguard .257 Weatherby Magnum I just acquired from my brother-in-law.
Any feedback on Vortex scopes?

I'm looking at the pst as well. They seem to be well liked and are a good value. I'd like to see some actual user opinions as well.

The only experience I have with Vortex is the Viper PST line. Those are excellent budget optics that give you a lot of scope for the money. The glass is acceptable, the tracking is spot on, the durability is is good, and the warranty is as good as it gets.

Re: Any feedback on Vortex scopes?
I haven't met anybody that's bought a Vortex that's had buyer's remorse. I'm trying to save up for one myself, the Viper PST 4-16x50 (in FFP).
I don't fear guns; I fear voters and politicians that fear guns.

I have a Vortex strikefire on my AR, no problems so far. seems well made and gets the job done.
