Punctuation is your friend. It would make it easier to understand your question.

TAM is correct. I can't work out what you're saying. I get that there's a question about prices in there, but I can't follow the rest.

From looking around for EOTech optics & on GunBroker, the 512 runs around 350-400. GunBroker has some of those Doublestar ARs listed (not sure what model you are looking at) for around 700. I would price the pieces on GunBroker & compare to new. It sounds like the rifle is in like new condition. But I dont think 1200 is bad with the EOtech. Just research the brand to make sure it is worth that price. I know you can get a RRA for around 1000 (w/o the optics). Good luck!

The ammo and optic make it a mediocre deal, but I want to know more about the quadrail. There is a 99.999% chance it's complete junk, but if it's a Daniel Defense or LaRue or even Troy, I would then say it's a deal.

With the limited information available, I would pass and build or buy (bravo company machine) a quality gun. Double Star is serviceable, but it's pretty far down my personal list of brands I would spend money on.

I also built a rifle on a Doublestar lower - it was nicely machined and finished, everything went together fine with no issues of looseness or binding. Wouldn't hesitate to get another.

As for your deal . . . basic rifles go for $700, a couple of hundred more with the factory quad rail. New sight for $350, 560 rounds of ammo is worth at least $150 (assuming it's not junk like Wolf or reloads) . . . good magazines are at least $10 each. Not a BAD deal from a private seller (no tax) but I'd be inclined to either build my own or buy new.

One more thought . . . even though I like my Doublestar lower, that they only go for around $700 new for a complete rifle suggests that they've taken shortcuts on the other components.
